Hi! For my birthday this year, I would like to help other children who need our support. Please help me raise money to feed children in the United Kingdom and India during these trying times. As they say, charity begins at home. Thank you.
About Akshaya Patra Foundation:
Akshaya Patra Foundation, (UK Charity number 1117756) has been around for 20 years, feeding children at scale and speed - hot, nutritious lunches. In India they serve close to 2 million children on a daily basis. Here in the UK, Akshaya Patra's Nourish to Flourish programme serves children of low-income families and those suffering from food poverty. The meals served are always hot, nourishing, vegetarian and are accompanied by fruit. Their programme not just tackles hunger but also the issue of malnutrition among children who are our future.
