Recalling a memory of her mother, Mitali says, “My mother really wishes to own a little shop.” She adds, “Ma works very hard for us, hopefully, one day I can help her open that shop.”

Mitali greatly admires her mother’s hard work and dedication, she says, “He enthusiasm has encouraged me to dream.” She adds, “I dream of becoming an award-winning designer in the mattress industry. Obviously, I will learn from the best – My mother!” 

When asked about her schooling and support she receives, she confidently says, “I like going to school very much. Plus, we also get hot food served free. I know Akshaya Patra provides the food, the khichdi and sabzi are my favourites.”  She ends, “On most days when Ma leaves early for work, the Mid-Day meal is our only food.”
